Procedures

Arrival Procedures

The following is some beneficial information to make your arrival as smooth as possible.

  • IMMIGRATION

    After your plane lands, you must present your passport to the immigration agent. That is all you need to enter the country.
  • CUSTOMS

    After clearing immigration, you will claim your luggage. Upon departing the airport, you may encounter a random check of your luggage. This process will take a few minutes. Just answer any questions truthfully to avoid any delay. They normally want to know what you are bringing. If you do not verbally declare what you are carrying, you could face challenges getting into the country.
  • MEETING POINT

    Our airport has 4 terminals and yours depend on your airline, we suggest you to review your boarding passes to follow the corresponding instructions. Terminal 3: Outside by Margaritaville restaurant, next to the convenience store and bathrooms. Terminal 2 & 4: Next to the Welcome Bar.

    Always look for the event sign to identify us. You will see it immediately after exiting the airport's double crystal doors. Do not worry if your flight has been delayed, if you are in the same flight number, we will follow up on the airport screens.
  • IMPORTANT

    It is essential to mention that before exiting any airport buildings, right after clearing customs, you will find so many booths and representatives in white or blue uniforms offering you free transportation and tours. This is a vacation club tactic, we kindly suggest you thank them and keep walking to avoid transfer delays or no show charges if taking too long to meet our team.

Departure Procedures

A pick up time will be received if purchasing your departure transfer. Domestic flights within Mexican Republic state to be ready 2 hours prior take off time and international flights 3 hours. We will add the sufficient driving time from your hotel to ensure a proper arrival to your airlines counter.

  • The day of your departure, a GIM staff will be in the lobby to assist and dispatch your vehicle.
